Lago del Bernigolo is an artificial lake created in 1947 to channel its waters towards the Lenna power station. Located inthe municipality of Moio de’ Calvi, it is surrounded by majestic mountains and lush nature, which are best revealed by
walking along the paths that run along its shores. The circular route known as the ‘Giro del Lago’ (Lake Tour) crosses
Passo Pioda and Cantone Santa Maria: it is an itinerary of about three kilometres, of medium difficulty, and can be
covered in about an hour’s walk.
